Custom RCD Test Labels

What’s the text included on the RCD label?
This installation, or part of it, is protected by a device which automatically switches off the supply if an earth fault develops. Test six monthly by pressing the button marked ‘T’ or ‘Test’. The device should switch off the supply and should then be switched on to restore the supply. If the device does not switch off the supply when the button is pressed, seek expert advice.

Are RCD test labels required by law?
No. It is a requirement to periodically test though, so a clear and professional way to indicate this and generally accepted way, is to apply an RCD sticker nearby or on the board. Even better still, we can print your custom RCD test labels and design them for free with your own logo and contact information on the bottom.

Why not a cheap paper sticker?
Paper stickers are a great temporary solution to labeling, like packaging for example. However, paper stickers will only last so long until it will start to wear, fade, and get damaged/scratched very easily. We use only super sticky self-adhesive vinyl for RCD labels to ensure that your brand name looks perfect and is still intact when you come to work on it next time.
